General Info

Tucked in the heart of Hamilton Central, Hello Rosie at 307 Barton Street is a vegan spot that truly makes a statement. Walking in, you immediately get a vibe that’s both cozy and energetic-a place where the menu itself feels like a celebration of plant-based creativity. Whether you’re grabbing a quick takeout or settling in for a relaxed dinner, Hello Rosie has a way of making every visit feel special.

One of the standout treats here has to be the Loaded Fries. They’re not your typical side dish; think crispy, golden fries piled high with all the good stuff, drizzled with rich sauces, and topped with fresh, vibrant ingredients. Every bite is a mix of textures and flavors that feels indulgent yet completely guilt-free. If you’re in the mood for something a bit more inventive, the Cauli & Beefy Taco is an absolute must-try. The combination of perfectly seasoned cauliflower with plant-based beefy goodness, wrapped in a soft taco shell, hits that perfect balance of savory and satisfying.

And for anyone with a sweet tooth, the Lemon Curd Donut is a little slice of heaven. Fluffy, light, and bursting with zesty lemon flavor, it’s a dessert that lingers in your memory long after the last bite. Pair it with a cozy drink, and you’ve got a mini moment of pure joy.

Hello Rosie isn’t just about the food, though the menu alone is worth the visit. The restaurant makes it effortless to enjoy your experience, offering easy takeout options and smooth NFC mobile payments for a no-fuss dining experience. There are healthy options sprinkled throughout the menu too, so you can feel good about what’s on your plate. The space is well-maintained, with clean restrooms and a friendly, welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to linger just a little longer.

From the moment you step inside, the attention to detail in both the menu and the service shines through. Diners often mention how approachable the staff is and how the creative vegan dishes make even longtime plant-based skeptics curious. The combination of thoughtful menu items like the Loaded Fries, Cauli & Beefy Taco, and Lemon Curd Donut, alongside practical conveniences like takeout and NFC mobile payments, keeps Hello Rosie buzzing with positive reviews and loyal locals.

Visiting this Hamilton location, you quickly realize it’s more than just a vegan restaurant-it’s a spot that makes plant-based dining feel exciting, accessible, and genuinely enjoyable. The vibrant flavors, cozy setup, and careful touches make every meal feel like a little culinary adventure.

“ This place was the best! Everything looked so good it was hard to choose. The buffalo burger, chikn tacos and mac n cheese bites were heavenly and my friend’s milkshake was so good that I had to go up again and order one too. Their sweet treats were also 10/10! Highly recommend ”

“ GUYS I kid you not, probably the best food I have had in Hamilton (and I'm not vegan!) The food here always hits, just tried the Cauli Tacos and OH MY LORD, stunning. Perfect balance of powerful flavour in every bite. Expected a snack, got a whole meal. Everything is so beautifully curated, filling, fresh and delicious. I cannot recommended ENOUGH. The 'Chicken' Tacos also excellent. Mac and Cheese bites are divine, but the dipping sauce steals the show. Don't even get me started on their donuts and Apple fritters... YOM. Everything is so reasonably priced too. Mandatory stop in Hamilton, these guys are the real deal ”

“ Definitely go OUT of your way to eat here. I had the buffalo chickun- it was hot, fresh and so delicious. Just what I wanted. The donuts looked incredible but I wanted savoury food, so I’m waiting for a beef burger to take away!! Located in Casabella Lane, run and find it!! Thank you Rosie ”

“ Hands down the best attraction Hamilton has to offer. Small cafe with a cute atmosphere and fully vegan too! The menu is small but refined; they only do a few things but they do them really well. We got the dinner box and buffalo burger + some treats to takeaway. Food was reasonably priced and delicious. Staff were friendly. 10/10 would recommend. ”

“ Vegans do not skip !!!! Heard a lot about this place during our NZ trip & was so lucky to have stopped in for lunch! We loved it so much - we stuck around later the next day to dine in a 2nd time before moving along in our trip! Super adorable tiny vegan place serving up AMAZING vegan burgers, shakes, and baked goods! The vegan pineapple chicken burger was SO good! Loaded with flavor & super fresh. The Mac & cheese bites? To die for! The baked goods? Even more to die for! We got the doughnuts to go & enjoyed every single bite! ”
